I have been speaking to Lisa of Dream Day Flowers about trends for flowers for 2012.....here you will find what colours are most popular this season including what particular flowers you can choose to stay on budget!

Lisa, what are the most popular colours making their way this year?

Most brides seem to be having lots of fun with colour this year. Cadbury’s purple is still about but not as big as 2011. Vintage themes are very much in vogue this year. So softer colours and less formal arrangements. Blue’s are making an appearance this year from Navy to paler blues. Navy like black can carry any flower colour.

And for flowers....what is big on trend this season?

Roses are always a big favourite with brides, with such a range of colours to choose from. Flowers can have an emotional meaning and this can give a bride a reason to pick them. If you have a favourite flower it is lovely if we can include it into your special day. Hand tied bouquets are still the brides favourite with the shower bouquet making an occasional return, depending on the dress.

To give brides ideas for table centres what would be your advice for giving the wow factor at different venues?When thinking about table centres you will have to take your venue into account. If the venue has low ceilings maybe use lower table arrangements to make the room feel more spacious. If you have a very light high ceiling at your venue, you could have very high arrangements filling the space.

You do not need to have the same arrangement on each table, you could do half tall and half in the lower style. Just remember it can distract conversation if flowers are in your guest’s eye line.

If you wish to include candles in your arrangements remember to ask your venue if the use of naked flame is allowed.

Also flowers can be arranged not only in vases etc, the vintage look is coming back this year. The use of jam jars, tea cups and plant pots look different. These could be given as gifts at the end of the wedding.

The all important question - how do brides stay on budget this year?

It is always hard when planning a wedding to have a budget and stay within it. I feel with the flowers is to choose a florist who you feel comfortable with. It you have a budget that is fixed you should tell the florist from the start. This would help them to guide your flowers choice.

If you choose flowers that are in season at the date of your wedding always helps. January to April will have an abundance of spring flowers, Tulips, Hyacinth and Daffodils. Tulips come in many wonderful colours, Hyacinths smell beautiful. From May onwards the summer flowers appear, giving you a huge selection

For my customers I always have a free consultation to discuss their actual needs. If you are having your ceremony and reception in one place, find out if you can use arrangements more than once, for instance by using a piece for the registrars table and putting it on the top table afterwards. Soft Lace - Vintage inspired, soft feminine lace is huge on trend for this year. With the added embroidery of sparkle intertwined into the material, this look is elegant and timeless. Thanks to the royal wedding of our now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, lace has become modern and sophisticated once again. OK so material has been taken care of....moving onto shape? 2 styles of lace gown are very popular this year, as seen here on the left a fishtail design with lace up detail of bodice at the back is the perfect gown to show off your toned figure. For those of us who prefer showing off our waists but hiding our hips, a soft empire line skirt is the perfect solution.

Colour - the slightest hint of colour is making an appearence for 2012. As you can see here on the right, the beautiful sweetheart A-line gown has a tint of champagne, thee colour for your wedding dress should you wish to opt out of the more traditional ivory or white. With a lot of the catwalk designers you can see them bringing in this soft champagne / coffee colour scheme especially Vera Wang - having seen this first hand from a wedding we coordinated earlier this month.

Textured Materials - Organza tiered gowns and fishtail feathered skirts are becoming on trend this season. The bolder bride who can feel sexy and carry off this designer feel gown are becoming ever more popular!

Belts - Crystal and diamante covered belts are thee designer accessory for your wedding gown this year.. They add enough embellishment to a plainer gown for those of us who are not to crazy about the "sparkle".....or become your own designer and add a bit of sparkle to your gown yourself! A lot of our brides are adding diamante to the back panel of their wedding gowns which looks gorgeous!

Bridemaids - Asymetrical one shoulder gowns are proving a favourite with bridesmaids for spring and summer 2012. In soft material such a chiffon this makes for a floaty vintage theme inspired wedding complete! Popular colours are again purples, greens and blues.

Moving onto our corporate side of events. We work on a freelance basis meaning companies will make use of our event coordination services when they require an event to be organised. Our portfolio ranges from product launches to gala dinners, from team building days to corporate meetings and conferences. We have experience in events which we are very proud of and look forward to expanding in 2012. We also work with larger events companies on a freelance basis which we are very excited about and keen to progress.

The sun has got his hat on...hip hip hip hoorrraay! Well, he did, short lived....BUT we are moving in the right direction! Spring/Summer sunshine is slowly creeping in... enough for us to fish out our summer clothes, sunglasses and flip flops from the back of the wardrobe :-) So in celebration of British summer time here are a few ideas and themes for a perfect spring/summer garden wedding.

Sunflowers, roses, gerbera's - All perfect to give the right feel to a summer garden wedding. Bursting with colour, texture, smell - photo's here show how various effects can be made from using these collaborations.

Using such simple but elegant flowers still give the wow factor to your big day. White wicker ceremony chairs each with a single gerberaa placed on seat....organza ribbon tied around the aisle seating, string quartet playing pachelbel's canon as the bride takes her first steps towards her groom.....bliss!

Ceremony venue - a house / castle wedding with an elegant marquee - ivory swagging, wooden flooring, white linen with the white wicker chairing each with a varying height of table decoration to really make the first impression!

Wedding Gown Trends for 2011

2011 has now officially started – brides are back into wedding mode and looking for new styles and colours for this year.

Flowers are a big hit this year for the bridal industry whether this is patterned within the fabric of the gown or brooch designs added onto the body of the dress. Blush is the chosen colour by our fantastic bridal designers including Mori Lee and Benjamin Roberts as well as top couture designers on our catwalks.

In terms of styles of bridal gowns this season, the ever so popular fitted from bust to hips with a slight fish tail and train is making its appearance alongside our nations favourite princess style tulle layered skirts. Fitted bodice showcasing small waist lines into an A-Line skirt is the preferred design with a lot of our designers staying on-trend.

Bridesmaid choice of colour this season is slowly moving away from the every so popular purple making way for apple greens and fuchsia pinks – perfect for a spring/ summer wedding, or to warm up those dull days of autumn.

The importance of Merchandising!

We have teamed up with Esther Power of Black Feather Styling to bring to you the importance of merchandising for your business.

Visual image is very important to any retail environment:

- Transforms a browser into a potential buyer

- Gives a good visual impression of the inside of shop

- Showcases products

- Make a statement with products and props

Merchandising Inside:

- increases sales through carefully styled mannequins and displays

- which leads to "add-on sales" - i.e. style a mannequin in a jacket, gloves, hat and handbag - someone may love the jacket - see the whole outfit together and therefore purchases each item.

- Gives you the chance to showcase products which customers wouldn't necessarily put together - you have to remember a lot of people are not very good at visualising and imagining - you really have to spell it out to your customers

- Remember to have your merchandise laid out clearly - do not mismatch your party wear with casual. If somebody is looking for a casual black pair of trousers - why would thy look between the glitz and glamour of party season?

- Keep items in a colour - coordinated way (ish) - well as much as you can!

Window Dressers do not have to cost the earth. They add the "professionalism" which you carry throughout your shop being brought into your windows to the forefront of your business. If you really have a good window dresser you will find increase in sales straight away - many products sell out when we showcase them within a window display all thanks to Esther Power!!

Please introduce yourself

My name is Lisa Scott, I have been married for 18 years and I have one beautiful twelve year old daughter. I was born in Plymouth but since being married have lived in Weymouth, Gosport and the Helensburgh area. I have recently returned to Scotland from 2 years in the USA linked to my husband’s military tour of duty and have permanently settled in Cardross.

What made you start Dream Day Flowers?

On return from America I decided it was time to set up my own business focusing on weddings, civil ceremonies and events, ensuring my clients get the ‘individual touch’. The knowledge that I have gained over several years in the floral business ensures they have a day to remember and one they have always dreamed of. To make their special day as ‘stress free’ as possible I always discuss flowers, colours, styles and themes.

What is your experience in your area of the industry?

I have been a florist for 10 years but began my career as a dental nurse. When I left Plymouth I was fortunate enough to be offered a position working for a florist and soon realised that this was the profession I had been seeking, fulfilling my ability to create wonderful designs using my flair and creative talent to combine colours and shapes. This was enhanced by working for Karin’s florist in the USA, one of the top florists in America, where I covered events and I was fortunate enough to be part of an award winning team.

Have you seen any big changes in the wedding industry over the past 5-10 years.......same styles coming back? New and fun styles emerging?

I think the modern bride is looking for flair and elegance in the floral design of her wedding but at this moment in time is having to be budget aware. I am happy to move things from the church to the reception venue, if and where possible.

Fun things are being included in weddings, I have for a Halloween wedding included carved pumpkins. Feathers and Crystals are always very popular.

The Hand-tie is still the most popular bouquet for the bride, but I have been asked for Shower Bouquets again.

Are you exhibiting at any wedding fairs in the next 6 months?

I will be at the Dumbuck Hotel on Sunday 27th February. I hope to see many of you there?

Today highlights our very first guest blog - the work of Kirsteen and Colin of Your Wedding at Loch Lomond and CIA Photography:

Please introduce yourself

I'm Kirsteen and I'm part of the team involved in Your Wedding at Loch Lomond, which is an on-line wedding directory for Loch Lomond brides to be. It lists a wide variety of wedding suppliers serving Loch Lomond and is free to advertise in.

As well as being involved in this directory, I have three other jobs, including providing wedding favours through www.canyoudomeafavour.co.uk and assisting my husband with his wedding photography business www.ciaphotography.co.uk. I am a mother to a two year old and an active volunteer in the community.

How many years have you been involved in the wedding industry?

My husband and I have been involved in the wedding industry since we were teenagers. However, CIA Photography was established in 2004. Can You Do Me A Favour and Your Wedding at Loch Lomond were established in 2010.

Its been very interesting to see how the wedding industry has changed over the past 10 or more years – back then people rarely, if ever, spoke of chair covers, cupcakes and candy buffets!

What pros and cons have you found while being in this industry?

Our aim of making the directory 'everyone's directory' has been achieved. Its demonstrated by the fact that many advertising requests come from wedding suppliers who have been speaking to our listed suppliers. We do appreciate our suppliers spreading the word and helping with recruiting other suppliers! Many suppliers have become friends with each other, recommending each other, purchasing from each other etc. We love it!

We have made so many friends from our suppliers and received support from many experienced and respected wedding professionals and from other wedding directories.

That said, not everyone in the wedding industry has been supportive. We're seen as a threat to some because we target the same customers. Also we are free, not all directories are, plus we are less restrictive, especially regarding who can advertise. We only have two rules – cover Loch Lomond and link back to us.

However, as a wise man once told me “You're not in business to win their approval, you're in business to win the approval of your clients” and that's working well so I no longer worry about it!

What made you set up "ywall"?

Earlier this year, we got talking with a group of wedding suppliers. We were all in agreement that brides to be in Loch Lomond were not getting a TRUE picture of the wide range of wedding suppliers available to them and also that local businesses were suffering as a result of, for example:

• very high advertising rates in newspapers and magazines

• favouritism in other directories, magazines, and brochures – eg different in size of advert if you pay more...

• Very high cost of tables/stands at wedding fayres – often as high as £400.

We decided to create an on-line wedding directory that would be free to use and free to advertise in. We would treat all suppliers equally, and show no favourtism. Our only rules would be that you would have to supply to Loch Lomond and link back to our website. No one who meets these conditions would be refused an advertisement on our site.

We felt this would support both established businesses and also new, small businesses. We feel very strongly that its not the hours you work, or how long you have been in the industry that matters, its the end result you produce and how your supplier gets on with other suppliers such as your venue.

It has grown very rapidly from one venue, a few photographers etc into successful directory with a large number of suppliers and a very full email inbox!

Tell us about "ywall" wedding fair

The Your Wedding at Loch Lomond Wedding Fayre will be held at the Dumbuck House Hotel in Dumbarton on Sunday the 27th February 2011. This will provide the venue with an excellent opportunity to attract brides to be and showcase their function suite.

In addition, it will allow brides to meet a wide range of wedding suppliers, including yourself, to assist them in planning their weddings. There will be a competition on the day, discounts, goody bags, live music and pampering.

Interested exhibitors should email us at info@yourweddingatlochlomond.co.uk but only a few tables remain.

What are your plans for the future?

In 2011, we are holding a wedding fayre in February and if this goes well, we will do another later that year and also continue this into the following years. We also hope to exhibit at wedding fayres ourselves and promote the YWALL brand.

We have also just completed brochures for YWALL which will be given to brides to be visiting our fayre in February 2011. These brochures have information on all of our suppliers as well as information on who YWALL are and what we do.

We've had advertisements in magazines and are in discussions for newspaper advertising also.

Be On Trend for 2011 with new bridal collections - available to preview very soon!

I am back today from a fabulous break in harrogate, where each year thousands of companies decend on the British Bridal Exhibition ready to either 1)Sell Sell Sell or 2) Buy Buy Buy!!! After puchasing some absolutely gorgeous bridal gowns for 2011, I am now ready to share with you what is on trend in the bridal industry for 2011.

Bridal Gowns:

Many of us have seen from the designer catwalk shows in New York etc that flowers are BIG! Well this has continued into our bridal industry in a big way whether the gown is designed around the flower with its continuation throughout the entire gown, or moving into a simple gown with flower detail around waistline.

The favourite colour next year for bridal gowns is again Ivory with hints of blush, again in flowers :-) Alternatively there were the occasional gown entirely in blush - however be very careful, using the same precautions with white - this can drain your colouring unless you can hold this well.

Tiars: Side tiaras with large patterns are very popular and on trend for 2011. The traditional style is still here and appears again and again, however many of us like to see the high-street styles we were daily being brought into bridal. These style of tiaras are very poular especially as Cheryl Cole has worn on the X Factor.

Veils: Short veils are very big next year, even tied into the hair band with the side veil is another popular option. Many many brides are moving away from having the veil over their face, so the length is not such an issue naymore. Plus wedding gowns are as much about the back as they are the front, and with the longer length thus meaning it would be hiding any detail.

Wedding Gowns on trend in 2010

I see many brides entering our boutique with two similar style gowns featuring again and again. The first style popular in 2010 is the Katie Price-Cinderella style gown. Here are two examples of this, one being slightly fuller than the other, still giving brides a choice without being too over the top.

The first gown named Cinderella features a gorgeous sweetheart bodice with diamante jewelled detail featuring heavily until this breaks down onto the tulle layered skirt. This is perfect for those looking to emphasize their small waist and really show their curves. The second gown called Elle features a big trend this year – floral design. Many tiny flowers are aligned across the top half of the bodice with tiny diamante crystals to still show the sparkle in the design. The ruche effect across the bodice leading to a ribbon waist line, gives fuller girls the confidence to wear this gown and compliment their shape. The tulle layered skirt begins higher upon the hips compared to Cinderella.

A second popular trend this season is the slinky-fish-tail design, perfect for brides-to-be with smaller, curvier frames. Here are two examples of this design

First gown named Sophie in silky satin material drapes flawlessly around silhouette figure with tie-up design at back of dress. Gown drapes to floor with cathedral length train following into a “puff ball” bubble hemline. A popular style of hemline this year, not a great fan with seamstresses, but none the less a big hit with our brides to be. Second gown Daisy in taffeta makes this gown feel somewhat lighter – perfect for the hot summer weddings. The ruche details carries fluidly through this gown giving a fan design to the mermaid style train. Floral design appearing again onto this gown features small segments of sparkle creating a fairytale design.

Same is not always best option!

I have found a few brides trying to find the best suitable options for bridesmaid dresses. The same problems keep occuring " One bridesmaid is quite heavy busted, but then my other bridesmaid is quite short, and my maid of honour is tall and a size 8". On a lot of occasions, one style of dress will not suit each bridesmaid, and this is where brides struggle. A solution? How about having each bridesmaid in exactly the same colour, but different styles of dresses. This will not only complement your best friends but also look fab in your wedding pics! If one bridesmaid is heavy busted - why not try a one-shouldered design, or a design which has thicker strapes as part of. A bridesmaid whom is quite short - I wouldn't advise for them to have a 3/4 length dress as this will highlight their height. Really try and go with body shapes - if they are quite curvy, perhaps a lace up design which will pull in their waist to highlight their fabulous curves.

Having something different on your wedding day makes the day that little more "perfect". Not everybody likes matching everything - this can sometimes look too much, so instead try mixing things up slightly!

Many of us would love to be whisked away with a small group of our family and friends to our favourite destination - but perhaps think this could never be possible. In fact, more often than none this is a less expensive option, however those of us which have large families may find it hard not having our nearest and dearest around us on our special day. So, how about a compromise? Those that can make your destination wedding will be there,and everyone else can join in when you return home!

Starting with your wedding gown - in the heat of the Mediterranean sun you want this to be as lightweight as possible. With the fashion world going into a frenzy with the nude / vintage look new for this season, this is being carried into our bridal world too. With the sun finally making a visit, I decided to take a drive over to the picturesque village of Luss, looking right over Loch Lomond, today not a ripple in the water, bliss! The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel is currently going through a period of refurbishment, while building a second function room suitable for 140 guests. Floor to ceiling windows look out straight onto the Loch with the hills and mountains as a backdrop. Guests can enjoy their arrival drinks on their newly built balcony or terrace, or enjoy a walk along the beach while photographs are being taken. A rose garden is also being built infront of The McMillan Suite, perfect for your picture album!!

Your Wedding Album - a wonderful feeling receiving your completed wedding album - it is so much more than you could have wished and hoped for. Looking through your photographs just takes you back to your big day, all those special moments that you can sometimes forget. A family friend recently asked me to promise that every wedding anniversary, myself and my husband sit down and take a moment to look through our fabulous photographs and keepsake boxes of our memories from guest book, to wedding cards, from our first cork from our champagne to our place cards, those little details that you spent so many months making sure everything would be "perfect". I promised that I would, and already 3months too early I have started looking through our keepsake boxes!!

As I look through the past trends for bridesmaid gowns, I can't believe how much the trends change year on year. There is a lot of bold bright colours with bridesmaid gowns this year...perhaps to warm us up over the past few months of freezing temperatures!! Purple is set to stay, making a huge impact last year on fashion. Here you can view a collection of occasion wear gowns I currently have showcasing within my new boutique, which can be worn for many occasions.

With Bridal Gowns, the lace up corset is making a huge return this year, more so than the zip up bodice. I think having your gown with a lace up bodice is fantastic, especially if you are worrying about your weight. You can really pull in if you have lost any weight prior to the wedding day, which most of us do due to nerves and worry!!

Tule is used a lot in 2010 and very detailed with a lot of crystal and pearls added in which just gives the WOW factor. Adding the perfect veil with matching drop crystals will really set off the detail in your gown - you will look a million dollars - and so you should on your special day!

What a fantastic day we had on our open day launching Your Wedding Dress! Met some lovely brides-to-be, trying on bridal gowns for the first time. Not a dry eye in the shop I can tell you. We had great laughs, great atmosphere....and great cupcakes Mmmmmm!! Website has now been updated with photographs from our day, and new information on our two designers Benjamin Roberts and Mori Lee. We have appointments already this week and I can't wait to get started!

Met a lovely girl yesterday who has a great eye for fashion. She has just, like myself, set up her own business and is raring to go. Her business is BlackFeatherStyling and is a fantastic window dresser aswell as personal shopper and event stylist. I cannot wait to have her ideas onboard for dressing my window to really make an impact. I will post a photograph soon!

Excited to launch 2010 collection of Mori Lee and Benjamin Roberts exquisite bridal gowns. Mori Lee bridesmaids for 2010 are some of the nicest dresses I have seen for a while, many of them you will be able to wear to different events. Mori Lee have a great line of Party Dresses named "Sticks and Stones". Fantastic and colourful dresses for proms / weddings / parties gallore! I think I may even order a few for myself...too tempting!!

Launch for bridal boutique is Saturday 16th January 2010. Models will be wearing dresses, with wine and canapes available. Any appointments made on the day will receive 10% discount off their chosen gown.

Your Wedding Menu

Always a difficult decision to choose a menu which everyone will like. In the end it is best to go with what you and your partner wish for. A good idea is to ask for a menu tasting with your venue so you can try a selection of dishes, and if there is something you are unsure about, head chef will be able to create a menu just for you. Remember to always ask guests to include any special dietary requirements with their RSVP so your banqueting chef has plenty of time to prepare a meal suitable.

A different twist to your menu could be a “his and hers” themed, where every female and male have something different but they can swap between themselves if they are unsure – a great idea to “break the ice” between guests that are unfamiliar on the table. Another idea is to have a pre-order which some venues already have in place. On your big day, your guests chosen menu will be at their place setting, meaning they have already picked their favourite meal from your choices – no complaints! More traditional menu is for a set menu and each guest has exactly the same 3 or 4 courses for your wedding meal.

Remember after dessert has finished, tea coffee and biscuits will be available to guests, so it is a good idea to have your wedding cake served with your buffet, meaning this won’t go to waste, and also gives your guests something else to look forward to!

Often less is more; simple but elegant flowers can give the Wow Factor just as much or more than a huge wedding bouquet. Remember unless you have these specially frozen after your wedding for a keepsake, many bouquets will not last more than one day, especially in the heat of a summer wedding day.

You can still have that perfect look without going overboard. If you are having your ceremony within your wedding venue, pew-ends would not be required, perhaps instead tie some gorgeous ivory ribbon around the isle chairs to give that fresh look to your wedding ceremony.

So the time of wedding shows is now nearly behind us,until it all starts again February 2010. A lot of wedding venues will of course be holding their own open days with their recommended suppliers. I have found that a few venues by Loch Lomond are holding their wedding fayres on the same day, with all the same suppliers! Just watch out as you could be visiting the same suppliers again and again. However if you really have fallen in love with your venue, visit them on these open days where they will be offering good deals on their services such as money off canapes/upgrade to free chair covers etc

I have a busy few months ahead of me, with weddings to plan, shop to decorate in time for the arrival of our gowns! A lot of meetings with brides which I can't wait for. I love hearing about each individual wedding and what poeples thoughts are.

Exciting news!!! I am now launching into exquisite bridal gowns by two well-known designers: Benjamin Roberts and Mori Lee. I will also be offering bridesmaid dresses by Mori Lee - not the typical "two-piece" though, something quite modern and quirky! Favours or no favours?

Many people worry about "should our guests expect favours", or "we want something different than the usual whisky miniatures and sugared almonds". Guests shouldn't expect favours, but it is nice to suprise them with something a little quirky and different. One of my suppliers does great chocolate covered strawberries in the shapes of brides and grooms, or even miniature wedding cake biscuits. Another fab idea is to donate money to a chosen charity and in return your guests receive a badge. One of my clients actually tied all three aspects together - A name place card, a menu and a favour holder for a lottery ticket, saves money and a great idea that your guests can keep!

The time of year for wedding shows is once again upon us. Now the best bit of advice I can give is...try and go prepared! Alot of these shows you can end up wandering for 2,3 even 4 hours really not knowing what it is you are looking for. Before hand have a look on the website for the wedding show where it will display all the exhibitors for the event. Of course it is a lovely suprise to find some new and exciting businesses exhibiting which you had not thought of...if you do your research on some of these companies before hand and book their services at the shows you will normally receive some discount...every little bit helps!

And of course if you are unsure of any suppliers and great deals, please call me for some advice!!

Ingredients include bottled water, a bottle of wine, newspaper, a thank you note, scented candles..anything which you think your guests will enjoy. A fantastic start to your wedding celebrations!

Visited this morning a castle which sits up high overlooking Loch Lomond. Well what can I say, the most beautiful surroundings and spectacular views I have ever seen of Loch Lomond. The perfect venue for any wedding! They can cater from 50 to 500 persons, hiring in a marquee at a VERY reasonable cost. Im so excited to be working along side such lovely and very welcoming owners,with the perfect backdrop!

Had a lovely birthday weekend. Went to a great restaurant last night, which would be a fantastic place for a wedding venue, for a wedding party of 30 persons or less, who are looking for something a bit more informal. Staff were brilliant, could not fault a thing!

I am just back from a few days break in Elie near St Andrews. What a lovely place to visit, a real family village with a fantastic beach, nice food and the best weather!! I am looking forward to meeting a wedding couple this afternoon, who have recently got engaged and are really looking to get the ball rolling as soon as poss, as they wish to be married December 2009! 4 months to go, and I can't wait to be part of their wedding plans.

Had a great weekend visiting some family down south of the border. Visited a lovely bridal shop to try on some bridesmaids dresses for a family wedding in 2010. Spoke to a few brides to be about wedding planning, what great feedback and great contacts! This particular bridal shop just took care of you the moment you stepped through the doors to the moment you left, just what you are looking for in your wedding experience.

Taking a bride along to a fantastic wedding boutique this afternoon, really looking forward to it. Some bubbly and canapes while trying on some dresses, great fun! Always a good idea to take along some support in either bridesmaids or parents who are Ready to tell you nothing but the truth. Although at the end of the day it is down to you and which dress you feel right in.

Personally I do not see a problem with buying a 2nd hand dress, you can still have the fairytale wedding you have always dreamed of, and your h2b will still think you look a million dollars!!
